28th April 2004 Kite surfing: Ynyslas Estuary Wind Direction: N Wind Stength: 15-20 knots Surf / Sea State: Flat Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Overcast Max Speed: Distance Covered: I had planend to get out earlier and Leonardo and his mate were out on the seafront, but the slight offshore wind put me off that idea and the wind in the stuary was too light and gusty. It picked up later though and chris, Mike and I joined a couple of guys from Aberdovey in the estuary. The win was dead onshore and I was too overpowered really, but still having a good time. At one point Mike Chris and I went off up the estuary to the mouth of the Leri, but I often felt as thugh I was about to get lofted in one of the gusts and with the bank of rocks so close by I decided it was best to play it safe and get off the water before everything ended in catastrophe!! Still a good session in good conditions though, maybe I should have stayed out longer, but I'd rsather be safe than sorry! |
